Governor Mead’s State of the State Streamed Live Online

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead will deliver his State of the State address to a Joint Session of the Wyoming Senate and House of Representatives on February 13th at 10:00 a.m. The address will be available on a live stream at governor.wy.gov.

“I am honored to speak to the Wyoming Legislature and to speak directly to the people of Wyoming. Technology is a wonderful tool and I hope this opens the door for more citizens to watch this address,” Governor Mead said.

Teachers can have their classes tune in and watch the State of the State via live stream. “Wyoming teamed with CenturyLink to bring Ethernet access to schools in 15 communities across the
State. I am impressed with what teachers are doing to take advantage of broadband access,” Governor Mead said. “Students who watch the State of the State get insight into government and the process of running the State.”

The live stream will also include the State of the Judiciary message delivered by Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice, Marilyn Kite. Throughout the legislative session the public can listen to debate through a live stream available at http://legisweb.state.wy.us.

Media outlets wishing to carry the live video stream of the State of the State can contact Governor Mead’s communications director.
