Search for New Oil and Gas Supervisor Starts

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead and the other members of the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission are seeking applicants for the State Oil and Gas Supervisor position. The Commission will meet next week to establish the selection process.

“This position is a vital one for Wyoming. The Oil and Gas Supervisor must ensure that our oil and gas industry has the proper oversight while also providing an efficient regulatory system. I am hopeful we can find great candidates,” Governor Mead said.

Information on the selection process will be published following the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission hearing on July 10, 2012. Anyone interested in applying should contact Interim Supervisor, Bob King, at (307) 234-7147 or at bob.king@wyo.gov.
