State of Wyoming Board Training
Thank you for your service to the people of Wyoming. Among our most precious resources are time and energy, which you give in abundance as you serve. At the same time, a position on a state board requires the highest levels of responsibility, accountability and trust. Whether you have served many years on a state board or are brand new to a board, this handbook and the accompanying electronic training modules have been designed to assist you and your colleagues to have more efficient meetings, produce reasonable policies, represent the interests of the people of Wyoming and otherwise carry out the duties of your position. I encourage you to keep this handbook as a resource to guide your actions as a board member and answer questions as they arise. I appreciate the efforts of all those who worked to establish this training program.
