Sue Aleksich-Akey worked on the Inauguration Committee for Governor Mead. Born and raised in Montana, Sue spent the last 11 years working in Washington, DC. While living in Helena she served as chairman of the Montana Republican Party for five years. She has also worked for the Republican National Committee in DC as a special event coordinator. Longing to be back in the West, she moved to Cheyenne to be near her family in 2010.


Connie Brentlinger

Connie Brentlinger was born and raised in LaGrange. She has worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC, as client accounting manager for a certified public accounting firm in Tulsa, OK and as an accountant for the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce in Pueblo, CO. She and her husband, Dale, moved to Cheyenne 10 years ago and today Connie works part-time at the Governor’s Residence as an executive assistant to the Chief of Staff. She loves being back in Wyoming enjoying the outdoors and spending time with Dale and her yellow Labrador, Mattie. She has three stepsons and five grandchildren.
