Kathryn Paxton Boswell

Assistant to the First Lady and Residence Manager

The daughter of school teachers, Kathryn grew up spending the academic year in Arlington Heights, Illinois and her summers in the mining town of Morgan, Wyoming, 40 miles west of Laramie.  She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Women's Studies. As Associate Vice President at Ark Regional Services in Laramie, Kathryn worked with adults with developmental disabilities.  She has also worked as a Youth Worker at Cathedral Home for Children and the Laramie Youth Crisis Center, a Youth Director at Laramie First United Methodist Church, and has been on UW's Upward Bound summer staff.  She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Little Ones of Tomorrow Child Development Center in Cheyenne, and has also served as the Laramie Jubilee Days Board of Directors as the Rodeo co-chair and the Hospitality chair.  Kathryn is married to Chris Boswell.

Becky Beavers

Executive Chef

Becky is a Wyoming native and graduate of the University of Wyoming. She earned a M.S. from Montana State University, Billings, and worked as the sous chef for University Catering in Laramie from 1989-1995 before opening her own private catering business. She has been the executive chef at the residence since August of 2006. Becky still enjoys a little catering on the side and specializes in wedding cakes.
